Your Nordic Pine has been passionately cultivated in our Dutch greenhouses but originally comes from the Norfolk islands. This Araucaria heterophylla (actually not a pine but a conifer) brings ambiance to every home with its powerful appearance. And although it may look prickly, if you touch it, it turns out to be incredibly soft!
This plant grows slowly but steadily and if you take good care of it, you will enjoy it for many years.
Care tips
The care of your Araucaria is very very easy.
Avoid direct sunlight (morning/evening sun is fine), place it in semi-shade at 15 to 25 degrees Celsius without drafts. In rooms with floor heating it likes to stand on a stool or table instead of the floor.
Water it moderately to little (a little more in spring and summer) and give it some plant nutrition once every 2 to 4 weeks. If you really want to spoil it, we recommend spraying it with tepid water.
